Hello, my name is Nikki Arnold-Moon (she/her), and I am a Certified Social Worker providing compassionate, client-centered therapy. I hold a Master of Social Work from Boise State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies from Utah Tech University.

Through both my professional training and personal experiences, I have developed a strong passion for helping individuals better understand the context of their challenges, including the impact of relationships, social systems, communication patterns, and cultural influences. My approach emphasizes building a strong, trusting therapeutic relationship, and I am known for a style that is warm, curious, and authentic.

I provide therapy for children (ages 10+) and adults, specializing in the treatment of anxiety, OCD, and life transitions, including entering college, marriage or divorce, faith transitions, parenthood, and more. I also have extensive experience supporting clients with depression, trauma, grief and loss, and chronic pain or illness. As someone with lived experience of chronic health concerns, I bring added empathy and insight to this work.

My primary therapeutic approach is Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), which I integrate with evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, Narrative Therapy, and mindfulness-based interventions. I am also trained in Exposure & Response Prevention (ERP), an evidence-based treatment for OCD.

As a clinician, I stay actively engaged in ongoing learning, drawing from leading research and literature in psychology and personal development to inform my work. I take a strengths-based, client-centered approach, focusing on each individual’s values, goals, and unique experiences. Through a collaborative process, I help clients develop practical skills to navigate challenges more effectively while building a meaningful, fulfilling life.

I am a Utah native, having grown up in the Salt Lake Valley, and my husband and I are now raising two children here as well. When I’m not working, I love spending time with my family, reading, baking, and getting outside as much as possible.
