ABOUT MARCIE
Hi! My name is Marcie (she/they). I hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Utah State University and am currently completing my Master of Social Work (MSW) at the University of Utah.
My background in psychology sparked a deep interest in mental health, and I have found genuine passion and purpose in supporting individuals as they navigate challenges and strengthen their well-being.
WHO I WORK WITH
I work with adolescents (11+) and adults, supporting individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, eating disorders, self-harm, family conflict, and trauma.
I value working with diverse populations and strive to provide a safe, affirming, and inclusive space for LGBTQIA+ individuals and those exploring their identities. I am also knowledgeable in Deaf culture and am able to provide services in American Sign Language (ASL).
HOW I WORK
My therapeutic approach prioritizes connection and the therapeutic relationship we build together. I aim to be genuine and authentic in session, creating an environment where individuals feel supported in showing up as their most authentic selves.
I want to hear and honor your unique story and lived experience. Through a foundation of trust and collaboration, we can work together to navigate complexity, build resilience, and move toward a life rooted in purpose, connection, and fulfillment.

BACKGROUND
As a Clinical Intern, I work under clinical supervision and am committed to continually expanding my knowledge and skills. I consider myself to be a perpetual learner and value every opportunity to grow and learn.
I was born and raised in a small town here in Utah, and my husband and I have settled down in the Salt Lake Valley to raise our three kids (two cats and one human son). I enjoy crafting in all its forms, and you can typically find me with a crochet hook or journal in hand.
